À propos de ce contenu audio
In The Bone Witch, Tea mastered resurrection - now she's after revenge....
No one knows death like Tea. A bone witch who can resurrect the dead, she has the power to take life...and return it. And she is done with her self-imposed exile. Her heart is set on vengeance, and she now possesses all she needs to command the mighty daeva. With the help of these terrifying beasts, she can finally enact revenge against the royals who wronged her - and took the life of her one true love.
But there are those who plot against her, those who would use Tea's dark power for their own nefarious ends. Because you can't kill someone who can never die....
War is brewing among the kingdoms, and when dark magic is at play, no one is safe.

I have to say though, it is good for teenagers, It might be a bit soapy/cheesy sometimes for adults. BUT, I am soapy I guess. Also, the female narration is very dramatic (like "oh noooo, I dont want to hurt anyone, am I a bad person?") hahaha its a style.
Amazing

Former friends and relatives ending up as enemies ? No actually they're fine they're all still friends.
Revenge story ? Well barely. It's more of a "misunderstood heroine determined on noble sacrifice".
Moral ambiguity : LOL no.
The romances certainly did not help... I could not stand any one them. The worst one to read through was the main romance, but the secondary ones weren't much better. Having gay romances in a book is great, fantasy in particular certainly could use more, but that doesn't mean it gets a pass if the romances are cringy and clumsily implemented. Point for trying I guess ?
1. Tea and Callen
I liked their relationship in the previous book, but in this one it was extremely cringe-inducing. To be fair, they are both young so you could argue that their romance should be cringy, but for me it just makes it a pain to read.
2. Shadi and Zoya
That romance doesn't come entirely out of nowhere considering their history. And it COULD have been an interesting romance. In the last book we learned that Zoya was resenting Shadi so much because they used to be childhood friends, and because Shadi was accepted into mistress Parmina's house but Zoya was rejected. However, everything we saw was with other people as medium between them (Zoya displacing her resentment for Shadi on Tea because she was accepted in mistress Parmina's and Shadi's house, etc). They barely interacted together (I can't even remember if they actually did). In this book, it feels like we missed an episode like the part where they are growing close again because suddenly it's "THEY ARE TOGETHER NOW AREN'T THEY CUTE ???".
3. Likh and Calad
No setup, just Likh being "Wow I just met you but you are so amazing I am in love now" and everyone else "AWWW THEY ARE SO CUTE".
And to finish, where is the transgender character I was promised by all those angry reviews ? :'(
All those rants about THE TRANSGENDER CHARACTER and THE TRANSGENDER AGENDA and WOKISM and [insert far-right buzzword] ? Was all the outrage about a boy wearing women's clothes ? I had been looking forward to it what a letdown :'(
Disappointing
