Commentaires
“Dr. Karp’s book is fascinating and will guide new parents for years to come.” (Julius Richmond, M.D., Harvard Medical School, former Surgeon General of the United States)
“The Happiest Baby on the Block is fun and convincing. I highly recommend it.” (Elisabeth Bing, co-founder of Lamaze International)
“Will fascinate anyone who wants to know how babies experience the world, and wants to answer their cries lovingly and effectively.” (The San Diego Union-Tribune)
Still, the story is just so extremely repetitive that the book could be easily summarized in 45min.
On the other hand the most important part - swadling instruction - seems to be almost missing. Short and generic description of one approach, without any pdf, any pictures, any video nor other approaches, nothing. Almost as if the book was just an advertisement of the DVD that you can buy separately, or training you can book.
The reasoning at the beginning of the book is interesting and brings many significant facts, but with the arguments provided by the author many conclusions seemed very far-fetched and unproven. I'm not saying they are incorrect, but simply the facts brought up were not sufficient.
Overal, I guess it's worth to go through it, once, but don't be afraid to fast-forward parts, you won't miss much.
Useful, but REPETITIVE and missing PDF
