The life of scientist Guglielmo Marconi reaches a bright vividness with the superb biography The Growing Dawn, by Mark Frutkin. With what is definitely one of the most engaging performances of a biography, Arthur Morey enraptures listeners with the life, accomplishments, and even surreal dreams, of one of the world's most important figures. While not a household name anymore Guglielmo Marconi, and his pioneering work with long-distance radio transmission - a discovery which much of our modern communication rests on - make this a fascinating listen. Whether you are a fan of the sciences, history, or just a lover of great biographies this piece will be wholesomely satisfying.
