The Nightmare has finally fallen in Oz, but the trauma it caused weighs heavily on the minds of a handful of people at the Green Delight, a farmstead located in the Emerald Fields beyond the country's great prosperous capital. It is here where Dorothy Gale takes her beloved companion Toto to seek rest, and while there he encounters a handful of new friends who are all experiencing the same sense of uncertainty for Oz's future. Will his time there shed light on the questions he still does not know answers to? And will his new friends prove to be dependable allies in what is to come?
The Green Delight is the first entry into a new series of short stories set in the New Oz Chronicles, starring Toto, Uncle Henry, Aunt Em and a handful of new faces -- plus the exciting return of three original characters, including Billina the Yellow Hen!
