Description
Vivian is a cultural specialist on the United Earth fleet ship Gorison Traveler. It’s the perfect job for someone who wants to learn everything about aliens. The only problem? The commander won’t let her anywhere near the visiting Ke’ters aboard the ship. The only way she gets a peek at the lizard-like race is when her brother opens a live camera feed during a meeting—a meeting that turns tragic when the Ke’ters attack the crew.
She’s horrified. Scared. The Ke’ters are murdering her people. Rushing from her quarters to get help from a control center, Vivian finds the station abandoned. It’s all on her to try to rescue the crew.
Brassi is a Veslor trader who picks up a distress signal from a nearby space vessel. The attractive female who contacts him looks terrified, and needs his help. He’ll board the Gorison Traveler with his crewmates, and fight the Ke’ters, but the longer he spends on the huge Earth vessel, the greater a distraction Vivian becomes. Brassi will do whatever it takes to save her…and to discover if Vivian’s his mate.

Worthy of your time and money
I've been impatient for Ms. Dohner to release this series in audio. The narrator is competent in that she kept me listening and genuinely performed the book vice reading it. Mainly what held my interest was the novel itself. If I hadn't read it (several times), I'm unsure this narrator would have persuaded me to buy it. She needs more skill in making each character sound distinct. Audio or ebook/print, the Veslor Mates series is wonderful and I look forward to new ebooks and audio releases.

I have been waiting for this series to come out!❤
I have read this entire series and absolutely love them! I have been waiting for them to come out on audio. I honestly wish that there were more books in the series. The narrator does a great job. And as always I love how Laurann Dohner delivers the story. Would love it if she would write a few more in the series.

Great Fun
Just what I needed. Terrific action, suspense and romance. Easy to listen to. I only wish it had been fleshed out more.

Great Start
Great start to a new series! I’m excited about these new alien shifters and their mating practices. I liked how Brassel was right there to save our heroine so many times. Enjoyed the narration as well. I’ll be looking for the next audio book.

looking forward to the rest of the series
Great start to the series but be forewarned, the rest of the series isn't available on audible so no binge listening. Thankfully this is a complete story, not a cliffhanger, I assume the next will be another couple's story. Great listen.

Great Story, Narrator So-So
I’m thrilled to have discovered this author and series, and I wish there were more in audiobook form. However, I wasn’t impressed with the narrator. It sounded more like she was reading it aloud - not monotone, and still enjoyable, but not narration.

Get ready to cry, worry and smile with this wonderful story with a happy ending. Can’t wait to listen to next story. I wish Laurann had all her books in audible format!

Fantastic start to a series.
This is a great first book of a series that is a cross between Laurann Dohner's "Cyborg Seduction" and "New Species" series. It features strong smart women with tender and spicy males. Well worth the listen. My only regret is that the other books in this 5 book series are not yet on Audible. That is a big oversight on their part! If anyone from Audible is listening please produce the remaining books in this series!!

Wrong names distracting
The narrator read two character names incorrectly and was distracting. The characters Brassi and Vassi have an i at the end of their names and the narrator turned it into an L. Maybe not jarring if you haven’t read the ebook as many times as I have.

It's ok
My biggest annoyance with this audiobook is that the narrator didn't get the main characters names correct. She added an l to the end of their names so it's Brassil instead of Brassi and Vassil instead of Vassi.
