À propos de ce contenu audio

The Day Mr. Sun Lost His Shine is a children's story about Mr. Sun, who wakes up one morning and can't find his shine suit. Mrs. Sun didn't take it to the cleaners, did she? Oh where, oh where could it be?

Together Mr. and Mrs. Sun search their tiny house, nestled in the stars, for the missing shine suit. They look everywhere...under the sofa, under the bureau, and in the lemon coloured loft. During their thorough search, they find an interesting and eclectic assortment of items such as three dust bunnies Mrs. Sun decides to keep as pets, a few lovely ladybugs, a bottle of star polish for their friend, Twinkle Star, a half-eaten buggie burger trying to run away, and many more hilarious items.

Finally, Mr. Sun decides to look in the backyard and see if Sundog has taken his suit there. Entering the yard, a group of hard working ants are seen racing toward an old scary looking Halloween cookie! And then, yes! Sundog is spotted playing with Mr. Sun's shine suit in the back yard! Now, Mr. Sun can don his suit and continue his workday and rise in the east and set in the west and keep the earth from experiencing terrible, terrible trouble from a lack of sunshine!

This audiobook teaches forgiveness as "love always forgives", and Mrs. Sun forgives Mr. Sun for accusing her of taking his shine suit to the cleaners. It also teaches that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west as well as being a catalyst for opening up discussion as to why the earth would be in trouble if the sun couldn't shine.

Truly, a fun little audiobook for the very young preschool to grade 1 or 2 level.
