    Deep, Celtic, Epic Fantasy

Where do I start with this. The narrator and the story come well together to present a world infused with Celtic-influenced mythos doomed by a power-hungry wizard that's sold his soul to the devil for power. Andrew McDermott's narration has a brogue to it that's somewhere between Scottish and Irish and fits perfectly. The entire story centers around our hero Corin and his fate to change the world. At the start, he's a bit of a playboy with a lost past and I disliked him, but over the story, he grows on you and becomes more of the hero we want and need. I know I've listened to a good story when in the end I feel loss at leaving the characters behind. 10/10 If you like Epic Celtic Fantasy and Irish/Scottish narrators then this is a credit well spent.

    If your into Irish/Celtic stories.

Where to start? This is a mammoth book centered around a lad called Corin who starts as an annoying lad and has some growing up to do. The Complete Chronicles of Corin an Fol is an Epic fantasy centered on an Irish or Celtic theme. The gods of the story interact with the characters but not always in an overt way. The story is a whopping 60 hours following the reluctant hero to fight against ...well everyone for much of the book. The way JW Webb has written Corin as a troubled hero that wants nothing to do with destiny. His main goal is to earn coin, fight and womanize. If you're looking for an Irish or Celtic version of Game of Thrones or Lord of the Rings then this will be up your street. The narration was on point as well. Andrews McDermott's accent carries a special something that really brought me into the world, it may have been his accent or/and timbre of his voice. Well worth a credit!

    Disarrayed story

I normally like books like this, but I must say this is the first one that was so disorganized there is time when a character is speaking and then jumps into another character actions leaving the conversation totally bewildering. The narrator was had the main character sounded like Ted from Bill and Ted adventure and the rest all sounded alike so you could tell who’s point of view was being read the worst. On both the story and performance.

    Great Sword and Sorcery Series!

I really enjoyed listening to these books. As I've mentioned before, anything Andrew McDermott narrates is a book I'll listen to! I have listened to all the stories in this collection and love them all! The characters are interesting and well developed. The story world is detailed and interesting. The booksare well written and I recommend them for sword and sorcery or fantasy fans! I'm looking forward to more books by this author/narrator combo!
