Two vampires, a human, and a retired elf walk into a blizzard...
Rowan Frost retired from the North Pole to make luxury magical items for the rich and powerful. It was going great until a magical blizzard buried half the planet and one of the most dangerous men in the world demanded White Glove service.
Now she's in a stolen sleigh, hauling a wildly unstable artifact through monster-infested terrain with a ten-day deadline and a client who doesn't accept failure.
The crew her client secured isn't helping.
Two vampires: one who communicates exclusively through grunts, and one who is completely unhinged and thinks the whole catastrophe is festive. And then there's Kane—the man she left because she was too much of a coward to be in a relationship with a man she might have to watch die one day.
He's still alive. Still a problem.
The cargo cannot explode. The client cannot be disappointed. And Rowan absolutely cannot fall in love again.
She's guaranteed to screw up at least one of those.
