For ten-year-old Lisa, life in the valley of Silverstream was ordinary and predictable, lit by one sun in a familiar blue sky. That is, until the day a second sun, Solara, blazed to life, bathing the world in its honey-gold light and banishing the night.

The new sun awakens a strange power within Lisa, marking her with a glowing sunbeam on her arm. She soon discovers she is not alone.
