These emotive poems were inspired and written about places the poet visited during his fifteen years of living in beautiful Cheshire and the people he encountered along the way. From gorgeous rural Cheshire through to the historic Chester, and taking in the wall along the Roman Wall and remembers previous visits. A journey through time and the seasons. Above all else this collection tells the story of real people, some of famous sons and daughters of the county, yet others those who helped put iconic locations on the map, and those less known people from the past brought to life once again through the power of words. Dean Fraser loves Cheshire so much that when he came to write his first full length novel featuring film maker extraordinaire Andie Valentine, namely Valentine's Night Ghosts, he wrote her as a resident of Chester!
