Susan Leonette has been looking for her missing father for five years and now she's nearly tapped out both financially and emotionally. How much longer can she last? She's just about to give up when a mysterious stranger refers her to a group in Miami with a reputation for resolving seemingly impossible situations. Almost afraid to hope, she decides to take one last chance.
Eddie Mason is immediately suspicious of the woman who appears out of nowhere with a case that tugs at their heartstrings. Protective of their privacy and safety, he's not sure it's worth the risk. But then they discover a connection between her father and a sinister organization they've been investigating for a year. It's too coincidental, but it's also the only lead they have.
Two random and seemingly unrelated clues send the team in opposite directions to investigate a pipe shop in Georgetown and a cattle ranch in Montana. As improbable as it seems, they just might have discovered the key to both finding Susan's father and uncovering the dangerous conspiracy that nearly cost them their lives.
All they need to do is stay alive long enough to figure it out.
