Examining the history and development of privacy, the author takes us from the Medieval period to now. During the well paced narrative Jenkins uses vignettes to illustrate her points and each one is a fascinating story in itself. Great book for anyone interested in delving into one aspect of the psyche of past generations. If you think you are familiar with British history this book will enlighten you even more. The author reads the book herself and she has a pleasant reading voice. Highly recommended.
