Description
My name is Craig Beck (from StopDrinkingExpert.com), and I am the Internet's foremost expert in helping people quit drinking alcohol. I've already helped thousands of people just like you get back in control of their addiction or stop drinking alcohol completely.
I understand how it feels to be worried about your drinking because for nearly 20 years I struggled with my own problem. I tried everything to stop drinking alcohol, from creating silly rules about what I was "allowed" to drink to going through torturous "dry months" and taking dangerous prescription-only medication! Absolutely nothing I tried worked until I dramatically changed my thinking. I also discovered some disturbing secrets that the alcohol industry doesn't want you to know. Then I used my former experience as a clinical hypnotist to construct a system to help anyone get their drinking back under control. I cured my own drinking problem (virtually overnight), and now I can help you stop drinking alcohol using the exact same painless method.

Has helped already.
I’ve only just started and finished this audiobook over the past 3-4 days. I know it is a bit too early and will report back at a later date, yet not quite sure what it is, but haven’t had a drink since starting it and it’s been about 4 days and haven’t even had a real craving. I’ve had issues with drink since being a typical American teenager which only got worse and worse as I got older. I mostly binge drank for years maybe a couple times a week with friends, at social events, vacations etc, but this eventually turned into nightly drinking after a painful divorce. Never considered myself an alcoholic and actually despise that term and that’s why AA, while I respect it, was never really for me. After my divorce around 42 years old and a DUI within 3 months of my leaving my ex-wife, I quit drinking for about two weeks, but then went right back to drinking literally every night for about 4 years to numb my pain. I was functional and am actually an anesthesia professional.
I met a great girl and dated her for about a year around 2 years after my divorce, but ultimately I lost that relationship directly due to my drinking. Luckily, a year after that relationship, I found the love of my life and got remarried. We are super happy together almost all the time. The only time we have ever truly had issues is when I drank a lot. I would make all the excuses and “rules for drinking,” very similar to what Craig mentioned in his book to try and “manage” my drinking. I have been a student and teacher of Zen and various forms of meditation and truly believe in the Law of Attraction and the power of the mind and loving in the moment. I picked up this book after listening to some of his mediations on quoting drinking, knowing that somehow willpower wasn’t enough and that as he stated, I needed a true and total shift in my mind/paradigm to the core of my beliefs/feelings/social training and habit mind to truly escape the habit of drinking. The almost immediate change in perception from using will-power to quit, to seeing through all the social lies about the poison we call alcohol was a real breakthrough for me. I already feel physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually better and can’t wait to feel even better, day by day as I get further and further away from drinking. I sleep better, spend more time with my wife and our 4 kids, actually want to workout again and even help my wife in our new Med spa business. I will stay in touch! Thanks Craig!

Been Trying for Decades....
If you could sum up Stop Drinking Alcohol: Quit Drinking with the Alcohol Lied to Me Method in three words, what would they be?
Inspiration w/common sense.
What did you like best about this story?
Truthfulness
What does Craig Beck bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I got through it faster by listening during commute than I would have reading it at home!
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No. Need time to absorb as you go.
Any additional comments?
I have been trying for decades, battling with drinking. I think with the help of this book at the website that goes with it I might just make it.

DANGEROUS misunderstanding of addiction and mental health, but masterful at disciplining egomaniacs
This author does not understand mental health or addiction to DANGEROUS degrees. As a DBT, SLAA graduate with a trail of dead addict friends, it was easy to laugh when he was insanely wrong, BUT, as a fellow ego maniac who uses alcohol to feed the ego I related to this a lot. He certainly understands egomania, but an egomaniac's perspective that didn't cater to my mental health was fun and interesting. Enjoyed, but be careful if you haven't had extensive therapy. Cheers!

The answer for me!
Truly not what I expected. Amazed how it shifted my thinking about alcohol profoundly, that I quit drinking in 2 days. only 10 days in, but I don't see going back ever.

1 Year Since Reading This Book & Alcohol Free
This book really works. I started listening to this audio book with no expectations. After understanding the machine behind alcohol in our society I lost the desire for it. I have increased energy, better sleep, and more money in my pocket. I am proud to have made it a year without a single drink and no desire to ever have one again. Listen and learn and change your life.
