Because of his humility, God favors Solomon with gifts of treasure so that he lacks for nothing. Narrator Kerry Shale performs the story with a friendly warmth that young listeners will find appealing. His narration of one of the most famous examples of Solomon's wisdom - the case of the quarreling mothers - is particularly full of spark.
