Shardless absolutely surprised me — I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did!

The plot is so well crafted and the character development is outstanding. We follow a FMC who has no memory, and while the prologue gives us a hint, there’s still so much mystery woven into the story. The long chapters aren’t usually my favorite, but here they allow the world and characters to really breathe.

✨ Things I loved:
• The friendship between Taly and Skye — it’s real, layered, and heartfelt.
• Friends-to-lovers romance with so much yearning. That man aches, and I felt it.
• The way denial and miscommunication are handled — frustrating but believable.
• A unique magic system: elemental magic mixed with enchanted objects that need to be recharged.
• Court & noble intrigue, fae politics, and layered mysteries.

The writing itself is beautiful, and by the end, my heart was shattered. I’m so invested in these characters now, and I can’t wait to dive straight into book 2.
