Select for Success is about hiring the right employee and ensuring you set them up for success with your organization. The hiring process is often considered a one-sided equation; however, selecting the right fit should work both ways, as the team must have the right members, and the member must have the right team. For those who question the two-sidedness of this, you can be assured the most talented will only stay when the work environment is congruent with their own values, needs and desires.
Selecting the right team member consists of two primary phases: choosing the right candidate, and taking the appropriate steps to ensure they are successful. In this guide, we will help you through both phases. We wrote this guide as we felt there was a need for a condensed to-the-point aid in selecting new team members. However, we also felt there was a need to ensure the team and their new member start their journey together on the right foot.
