While camping in the Pacific Northwest woods, Connor loses his golden retriever puppy. His life turns from bad to worse when his parents file for divorce, and he and his little sister Penny are bounced between their parents’ separate homes.
In an effort to find his dog, Connor, his best friend Darius, and Penny return to the campgrounds and encounter a mythical ape-like cryptid in the woods. Enticed by the considerable reward for trapping the Sasquatch, the kids realize they are not the only ones in pursuit of the elusive creature.
The kids’ quest for the reward money becomes more urgent as a group of U.S. Marshals descend upon the local area to capture the Bigfoot for experimentation. Connor, Darius, and Penny learn striving for good can backfire in the most dangerous ways. And sometimes the hunters soon become the hunted.
Can Connor, Darius, and Penny evade the U.S. Marshals, rescue the Sasquatch, and collect the reward money in time to save their parents’ marriage?
Or will they get caught up in a game of cat and rat that only truly the cleverest of people can escape? Join Connor and his friends as they stumble into a world of the unknown in search of one of the most rare and sacred of all species.
