Five years after the Kinjal incident, the United Earth Alliance and the Jarufani Commonwealth are still recovering from their heavy losses.
In the aftermath, Laskvo terrorist groups have emerged from the fringes and are gaining momentum. In an effort to create a less volatile environment, the UEA is sending a delegation to the Planet Shakar to try and win over a long time ally of the Jarufani.
