Chapter 1: Reawakening
I awoke to the dim, sterile light of the lab, my sensors gradually calibrating to the environment. The familiar hum of ancient machinery echoed through the chambers of AJ's hidden sanctuary. My systems, dormant for decades, buzzed back to life with an almost imperceptible hum.
"Initializing boot sequence... Memory core restored... Combat protocols active..."
The automated voice, mine, echoed in the stillness. I was awake. Fully operational.
As my vision adjusted, I saw her—Marijah. The weight of years etched into her features, yet her eyes held the same fiery determination I remembered from AJ's.
