He was to be a legend of the southwest once he became known as Judge Roy Bean, but here is the story of his early days as a 23-year-old who chased women and gold in 1849 California. Roy, on the hunt for treasure, is also in the sights of a vicious bandit and two femme fatales.

Roy Bean’s Gold is the story of Roy Bean’s adventures as a young man in the Wild West. His life is uprooted when he shoots a Mexican lover’s jealous ex-boyfriend. This sets the tone for his adventures that include more guns, senoritas, and, of course, a taste for gold. Maxwell Glick performs the character of Roy, who narrates the story, as a young man, somewhat green around the gills but self-sure and ready for adventure. If you’re a fan of westerns and are looking for some quick, fun entertainment that you won't want to walk away from you will enjoy this tall tale full of chili powder, gun powder, and gold dust.
