Alone, pregnant and running from monsters . . .
I thought I knew what I was signing up for at Prometheus labs. A living wage salary in return for terrible hours, appalling working conditions and the occasional medical trial to give me a nice end of month boost in funds. I never expected to end up pregnant and transported to a completely different world, where gargoyles taunt me, and my life is immeasurably worse.
Until they show up.
Two alpha gargoyles, granite gods of males, along with a gargoyle knight who could charm the birds from the trees. They never expected to find me, and now they're claiming me, and my unborn child for themselves. I'm not ready to surrender anything, but my treacherous body tells me otherwise. It needs the attention of all three gargoyles, over and over again.
But I'm not going to let them take my heart. Gargoyles have destroyed my life, and I have no reason to let them in, no matter they call me 'mate' and make every part of me sing like I belong to them.
I won't give in. And when I have my baby, I'm leaving. Let them try to stop me.
