A ten-day family vacation is fun when you’re a kid. As an adult? Not so much.
When Jayce Nash agreed to join his family at Lakeview Harbor Resort to celebrate his grandparents' fifty-fifth wedding anniversary, he didn't think he'd feel like he'd been transported back in time. He certainly didn't expect to run into the girl who got away all those years ago.
Going back where all your favorite memories were made should be exciting. Except when doing so means saying goodbye.
Kelsey Brooks dreaded going back to Lakeview Harbor Resort. Especially because she was going back alone. But it's the perfect place to say goodbye to her mother, and with the resort closing at the end of the season, it's now or never. The last thing she could have imagined was literally running into the boy she never forgot.
They have ten days to walk down memory lane and wonder about what might have been. But maybe they can also create the future they always wanted.
