Ragnar Lothbrok is considered to be one of the most influential Vikings in Norse history, regardless of what is speculated to be true or false.
Follow the epic tales through Ragnar’s life as he traverses his way through Scandinavia, France, and England, leading fleets of ships, raiding villages, and holding kings at ransom. Witness the brutality and outright madness Ragnar, the king of Denmark, portrayed during his reign.
If Ragnar is something that myths are made of, there is a lot that seem to be hard facts. Everyone remembers the legends of his misdeeds from the year AD 864 when he supposedly lived. And lived he did, very vividly.
For a legend to have survived for over 1200 years down to the same minute details, it makes one feel that there must be some spark of reality in all of it somewhere.
The topics covered in this audiobook include:
- Who was Ragnar?
- Ragnar's many raids
- Ragnar's wives and children
- How did Ragnar die?
- The variations of his extraordinary life
- And much, much more!
