Two hundred million Americans live paycheck to paycheck, 23 million women of reproductive age live in states with abortion bans, and democracy has been compromised. Worse, Americans don’t like each other. Seventy percent of both Republicans and Democrats claim the other party is “a serious threat to the United States and its people.”
However, there are many important policy issues that Americans overwhelmingly agree upon: remove big money from politics, reduce healthcare costs, reduce housing costs, raise the minimum wage, outlaw gerrymandering, and secure women’s reproductive rights.
