Description
Emotions are the energies that fuel people's lives. Emotions are instilled in us as infants without our awareness. They reduce our rationality and cause suffering, yet successful people make decisions more rationally. Society teaches us that emotions are desirable, but they keep us repeating our patterns, a form of bondage.
Unraveling the subconscious is the key to being free. The subconscious records incoming data as negative, positive, or neutral. New experiences trigger this stored information, which gets activated as reflexive behavior or automatic reactions. The subconscious also controls our thinking and attention. By releasing emotions and living from the true self, you can gain increasing freedom. This knowledge opens your huge potential. You can understand how to assess challenges using the five-body perspective to live in a whole new way.

Great book, great techniques!
The book's narration is very good and it's pleasant to listen.
Part 1 gives a theoretical foundation to how emotions and subconscious work. Part 1 is bit hard to listen as an audiobook, because It's pretty condensed material and probably would deserve a book on its own. I would have liked the author to expand the topics bit more here to make it more seamless listening.
Part 2 is the crown jewel of the book. This is where the techniques are finally introduced. It's easy to listen and follow as an audiobook. The audio narration advantage over the paper book is that it works well as a guided meditation and it's easier to learn and repeat the techniques like this.
Part 3 helps to discover the inner quiet and true self. Here again the audiobook format has an advantage, because it makes it easy to listen and follow the techniques. I find those techniques easy to do when I'm sitting with my eyes closed, but I'm struggling to apply them in more engaging situations.
I have practiced the techniques for a month now after finishing the book and I can say that they really seem to work. For example, I got frustrated a lot in traffic. I knew that I shouldn't get angry in various traffic related situations, but I couldn't help it. I started by taking about 15 minutes of quiet time every morning to apply the techniques. With every day I felt less and less frustrated. It wasn't like all the road rage was resolved overnight, but it was more like step-by-step gradual improvement over time. Recently I discovered that I'm quite relaxed and calm in the traffic. That's amazing!
I would recommend this book to anyone who is open to exploring alternative ways of improving oneself by removing disturbing emotions.
