And in the bowels of Hell, known officially as Downsford, the workshy and their rabid dogs are fighting a rearguard action against the ever-stricter Social Security clampdown. Caught in the middle are the struggling working-class of Folkfield, and their more prosperous counterparts in Amplemere. Each quarter of Coneyhill has its own problems.
But somewhere in the sprawl of this town, someone is to blame for the killings.
As the death toll accelerates, and competing conspiracy theories rattle the inhabitants, it’s inevitable that the fear will reach a tipping point.
