In August 1980, a diabolical plot was hatched in the Swat valley, named 'Operation Junoon'. Its aim: to find the final solution for Indian Kashmir. Colonel Jayesh: A highly motivated Indian Army Officer who is fighting against all odds, the conspirators of operation Junoon. Rusksana: The local Kashmiri girl who gets sucked into action to save the Kashmir Valley. Gul: A terrorist born out of a seer's prophecy, who is caught between love and Conscience. Major Iqbal: The ruthless and cunning SIS man who will go to any extent to see that Project Junoon succeeds. Set in the terrorism-charged environment of the Kashmir valley, the story takes the listener on a roller coaster ride, involving conspiracies, betrayals, and revenge. The characters span two generations, a period of almost 40 years, intertwined in a tango of emotions. The story is a work of fiction, yet leaves the listener wondering, 'if it did happen'.
