I listened to this months ago, while injured and immobile. I was in a tiny orbital of my own, watching the sky from a single window. After seeing the Booker shortlist, I bought this on a whim after listening to the sample. I wasn't expecting to love this book; I just wanted something to pass the time.

I couldn't stop listening. Brilliant story and well read. Ever since I reached the end, I've been telling every reader I know that they need to give this one a listen. This book is a ray of hope.
