In Beekman Place on the sedate eastside of Manhattan, Oliver, a film history major who is inspired by his favorite Hitchcock film: Rear Window, is an observer of life in the windows of his neighbors…all sorts of characters he gives nicknames to.
He finds himself particularly captivated by the boyish blonde guy living on the fourth floor across the street. What starts as stolen glances through his apartment window becomes more real when he meets the cute guys sister one day walking her dog.
But when the her brother disappears, Ollie is helpless to solve the mystery…only chance brings unexpected closeness, leading Ollie to discover that sometimes the best view comes when you look beyond your window and step outside, even if only steps away.
