At just five feet tall, Donovan Marsden is having a rough-go at life. As sweet, little boys sometimes are, Donovan is horrendously bullied in high school, and he has virtually no social existence.
Doctor Alec Wilde diagnoses Donovan with idiopathic short stature, and places him on a drug that is used for another indication. Donovan also befriends his physical education teacher, Jermaine Barrison, who begins instructing his pupil on weight training and self-defense.
Donovan's life takes a drastic turn for the better. He moves to the top of the social totem pole at school, acquires popular new friends, and falls in love with a precious girl.
Just when Donovan thinks that his lot couldn't improve, his mental faculties begin to decline. The psychological downfall culminates in a horrific sequence of revenge.
