À propos de ce contenu audio
System Invasion,
Pseudo-Apocalypse,
LitRPG,
Weak-to-OP Cranky MC,
Mandatory Meetings Declined.
When the apocalypse is a poorly run re-org what if the Multiverse chooses the wrong guy on purpose?
Aren Kovacs is not a hero.
Hes a cranky level-3 IT guy forever on a performance plan for being too honest after going through too many corporate shenanigans, mergers, and employer changes. When Earth undergoes a sudden System induction, his default reaction is to treat it like any other mandatory org change: Whatever. I guess thats what were doing now.
After a botched tutorial start, Aren finds himself with powers he doesn't fully understand, unhelpful System administrators, a growing cadre of survivors he didn't ask for, and possibly a reality-breaking eldritch sponsor.
So, whats a burnt-out, deeply annoyed IT tech to do when he just wants to hoard his stuff and be left alone?
Figure out these powers and get strong enough so that no one will bother him? Maybe drag a few tutorial attendees along with him. If he has to
What to Expect:
Corporate-Satire LitRPG: A curmudgeonly Xennial protagonist navigating a seemingly absurd and apocalyptic System invasion.
Progression Mechanics: Light crunch with distinct soul-based power growth. Weak (maybe) to Strong (definitely) arc and progression.
Ensemble Dynamics: Reluctant leadership, found family, and dry, deadpan humor balanced with ARE YOU %$#$ KIDDING ME?!
Long-Term Mysteries: Why do so many aspects of the System seem to have linkages to Earths myths and legends? Is our main character really just a burnt-out IT guy? Will the author overload the story with too many pop culture references (yes)? Will Aren ever get back to his stuff?? (Some mysteries are longer term than others)
