The Third installment of the Tomas O'Malley Mystery series.
Tomas O'Malley simply wanted to enjoy his 55th birthday with his kids, and maybe a tall McNaughton's. Little did he know a dead body in the shadow of White Sox stadium and a dead CFO in North Chicago would both tie back to Dr. Alan Grove, Chicago's Chief Medical Examiner's husband and President of Manufacturing at one of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the country.
With millions of dollars at stake and members of the executive team dying each day, O'Malley is caught between pressure from one of his closest friends to clear her husband and what every piece of evidence is telling him. He calls on his old acquaintance from the Moretti case, Marco Filini, to help find the evidence that will either clear Doc G's husband or send him to prison for the rest of his life. A twisted set of adjacent murders cloud the investigation and cause it to get lost in the sand.
