À propos de ce contenu audio
A historical fiction novel of friendship and romance between two P-51 Mustang fighter pilots stationed in England during WWII. Inspired by real events.
By late 1939, three months after declaring war on Germany, and seven before the Battle of Britain, Britain's Air Ministry realized it was going to need more fighter aircraft than Britain alone could produce.
In 1938, the Air Ministry had licensed the Canadian Car and Foundry Company to build the Hawker Hurricane, powered by a Rolls-Royce Merlin 29 engine built by the Detroit automaker Packard Motor Company, under license and redesigned by them for mass production. But the Ministry knew that even with this added capacity, combined with the increase in Hurricane and Spitfire production at home, it was not going to be nearly enough.
This is the second in an intended ordered series of four audiobooks.
