Aaliyah awakens to the human world with her mutilation a harsh reminder that it had all been real, and not just a terrible dream. She is quickly taken in by fellow Deipan members who promise to help her make contact with her father, even as he suffers in Hell. Aaliyah vows to have her revenge on the woman who mutilated her.
Shelley Fasquelle has been invited to the next Deipan party on Owen Island by her twisted cousin, Jodie. The invitation coincides with a horrifying vision of the damned, being humiliated and tortured in Hell, which she uncannily suspects was very real, and somehow connected to the rumored dealings of the cult her extended family is embedded with.
