This is the only true 5 out of 5 book. This is my first read, but about to buy the paper copy to do a deep dive and become an “evangelist”.

Awesome take on goals!

Will take the nuggets here with me in my practise as a people leader and entrepreneur. This codifies everything that is wrong with performance Management and sets forward an awesome, yet practical and measurable approach for setting gos, translating these into actionable that everybody can get excited about and rally to achieve and to measure the entire journey, to know when a goal has been achieved and thus redirect resources to other goals or set new ones; or to know when a goal is no longer achieveable or relevant. Thanks John for the gift of these insights!

Inspiring stuff

Loved the book. Hearing the business leaders speaking was a great way to ingest the story. You can feel the passion John has for this topic. The OKR CFR tool can be such a powerful way to motivate and align people to achieve more.

Easy to relate and would love to practice it

I could relate the concepts in this book to Hoshin Kanri method of strategic deployment that I learned earlier. This OKR concept is much easier to explain and has more flexibility in deploying sideways across the org where work needs to be done inspire of silos. Am eager to put it in practice and hope to reap the benefits of this system.

Interesting but too bloated for an audio book

I do like the idea of OKRs and see their benefits. For me there were too many filler stories though which made it hard for me to focus over a longer period of time without having my mind wandering off and missing out on content. I'd suggest reading the book on this one.
