So we're headed home to Skarr where I can give birth and get a handle on my mimic abilities before I splice myself into a dozen different species and get stuck that way.

Mama is a novella in the Galaxy Circus series. It is a side story from the main action and is considerably shorter than the main books but it is number four so that you read it in the right order
