Description
A #1 Wall Street Journal bestseller.
In the final book in Amazon Charts bestselling author Catherine Bybee’s Most Likely To trilogy, River Bend’s rebel follows in her father’s footsteps to become sheriff. But it might be time to forge her own path...
Some kids inherit a family business; Jo Ward inherited a badge. Once voted Most Likely to End Up in Jail, the town wild child has become sheriff - hell-bent on uncovering the truth about her father’s mysterious death. Life is quiet in rustic River Bend, but Jo longs for something beyond her small hometown and the painful memories it holds. All that keeps her sane is the support of her best friends, Melanie and Zoe.
But when Jo signs up for an expert law enforcement training seminar, she meets Gill Clausen, whose haunting eyes and dangerously sexy vibe just may challenge her single-minded focus. Commitment-phobic Jo can’t deny her attraction to the arrogant federal agent, and when odd things start happening around River Bend and danger surrounds her, she realizes she’ll need his help to discover who’s out to remove her from River Bend...permanently.
As Jo and Gill work together, it’s clear they make a great team. But can Jo loosen her grip on the past enough to let love in and reach for the future?

Frosting on the cake
This was an outstanding ending to a delightful series. Jo and Gil are a cute couple, that fit in perfectly with the other couples. I love all three books but find this one to be my favorite. It is always a pleasure to revisit other characters in a series. Although one could read these out of order I personally recommend they be read in order. I for one would love to see another book with all three couples later in life and with children of their own. Catherine Bybee is an excellent author. Throw in Cristina Panfilio and you have one delightful audio book.

Loved this series!
I just finished the this book which is the third and last one in the series. I love this author. She is one of my new favorites. I also happen to love the narrator. Great series! Each book had its own story yet created a lovely connection between three best friends and a town named Riverbend.

Great ending book3
I didn’t want this to end. Really good story. Family oriented. Learning relationships and honest in communication and cute jokes. One thing that drives me nuts, one minute everything is going nice next say there’s a verbal fight, so there comes the f- this F that! But this crap? If you go to the extreme of the ugliest word that I don’t appreciate going into my head then to a mellow word that non cussers use as crap? Why not go for the gold and finish it off with s”#t ? That made no sense? I really wish writers would stop using cuss words! Just say and she went on to say every heinous or vile thing. And we can get it!
And the kids at the prom, that is so typical, so you had to go there? You couldn’t have been original and be proud to encourage people to wait till they are mature and know that they love this person and want to be with this person for the rest of their life? Does there always have to be jump in the sack stories? I’ve read some awesome stories just as good as this was only without the cussing and sex. They want to and they feel like they could go there but they respect the timing of waiting until you know that you want to be with this person because of the person not because of the lust of the body’s desire. Because if you like them, one day the body goes. Are you still going to like them? That’s why you wait. You need to know if you like them for them. That way you have something to look forward to in your 60’s, 70’s, 80’s

loved this series!
So well written! I will be looking for more books by Catherine Bybee. She didn't follow the typical format of boy meets girl, they fall in love, drama and breakup, more drama and big misunderstanding and then they get back together. It's a nice pace of building the relationship with a lot of excitement leading to a climax. So well done and the story is exciting, narration perfectly done!!!

I LOVE THESE BOOKS!
I love the story lines and being an Audio book listener I have found that the voices are what really bring the story to life. Every book of this series has been hard to put down and I've found myself unable to read them, but couldn't wait to listen to them.

Small Town Mystery Romance concludes series
Semi predictable finish concludes who shot Jo’s father, the former sheriff. Jo also meets her match in the form of a rough around the edges FBI agent Gil. A few hot scenes but not overly graphic. This story has plenty of clues about the initial murder and the Jo’s psycho stalker, so the finish was just a confirmation of the players roles. The wrap up laid most of the future out but a reunion epilogue would have been a nice way to include the teens and the trio’s future kids.
The story was slow at Thomas and if you were expecting more of Mel’s adorable daughter and their puppy you’d be disappointed. The teen story was left hanging so maybe there is room for a sequel there.
The narration was ok, but would have been better in a duo format as the voices occasionally blended. This book is good as a sale book but iffy for spending credits.
