Description

Loveability is a meditation on love. It addresses the most important thing you will ever learn. All the happiness, health, and abundance you experience in life comes from your ability to love and be loved. This ability is innate, not acquired. Robert Holden is the creator of a unique program on love called Loveability, which he teaches worldwide. He has helped thousands of people to transform their experience of love. “Love is the real work of your life,” says Robert. “As you release the blocks to love you flourish even more in your relationships, work, and life.”

In Loveability, Robert weaves a beautiful mix of timeless principles and helpful practices about the nature of true love. With great intimacy and warmth, he shares stories, conversations, meditations, and poetry that have inspired him in his personal inquiry on love.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE; Life Changing!!!!

I feel the pure unconditional love as I listen. So I try to listen while I'm driving so I can feel & express love (instead of cursing/cussing. ...lol).
Incredibly life & attitude changer.
I will listen to this again & again.

Captivating Truths!

This book gives some great insight on self-love, forgiveness and how to be gentle with ourselves. While listening to this book I will admit that I was listening from a place of guilt, shame, hurt, and betrayal. But it helped me to take a look at myself and see what pain I was inflicting on myself. It cause me to dig deep and look at all of my relationships and how they were nothing but self reflection of either love or fear.

Written as if speaking to children

The style is similar to that of a children's book. In fact, many of the anecdotes are conversations with the author's young daughter. So, the content is not for the adult intellect.

Furthermore, the narrator's tone is as if he's speaking to a 4 year old.

A must!

Robert’s Holden “Loveability” is one of the most amazing books on Love. Magnificent, impecable, full of wisdom and clarity; as a gift, it turns out extremely enjoyable while listening to the author. Can’t speak highly enough of Robert Holden and this book.

The world needs to read/listen to Loveability!

Excellent book! Helps you understand where love comes from, and how to get back in touch with love when you feel you may have lost it. It's changed my perceptions on many things in life. It's a must read!
Robert Holden does his own narration. It is outstanding, so easy to listen to, and so easy to relate to. I've seen him live, and he is just as amazing in person!

Banal

I can summarize in 3 sentences what Holder takes a whole book to say: We are, by nature, love and loveable. We forget this and need to remind ourselves of its truth. If we remember this and we become love to ourselves and others, love will find us.

He adds a lot of fluff and some anecdotes, which puff up the content, but it isn't substantive or revolutionary. It's like taking a bite of an ice cream cone only to realize it's cotton candy. Don't bother if you're looking something real. This is just foam.

Better than anticipated

After reading the reviews I was skeptical. However, the book turned out to be quite informative & enlightening. Being raised in a family with limited emotional intelligence, I've read a lot of books on the topics of love & relationship. I can honestly say that the content of this book helped heal some childhood experiences. It was warm, refreshing & easy.

With that said there is mention that everything you see in someone is also in you - the world is a mirror. He reiterates & firmly says this. Although this is partially true, it's also not the entire story. This philosophy is a controlling one because it says that you have control over everything by controlling yourself. I know many people think this way & it is rooted in truth. As coaching professional & spiritual mentor, this belief system is limited because it doesn't allow for healthy boundaries with those that could care less about you. I've found that we must balance the "world is a mirror" belief system with allowing folks to take responsibility for their own actions, by having healthy boundaries. Love WILL heal the world. We must 1st have a holistic understanding of love. Love has healthy boundaries because love for others starts with self love

Excellent

This book is so good that I have already ordered its print version to be able to reread it, mark it and use it in my everyday practice as a coach and mediator.
