This is a fictional story centered on the life of an innocent brown-colored girl growing up in a "normal" African family, who was discovered without permission. Cici is a girl just like any other but has a tough time navigating through life to discover her true worth. She learned from a young age to trade her body for what she wanted so desperately - love!
She goes through several phases of body changes and events, largely unnoticed by her family, but she receives deeply craved attention from unhealthy sources which would cost her so much. She gets passed on from one man to another, eventually ending up being raped by her "cool" stepdad. Love entered her life in a most strange and mysterious way after she gave herself permission to be discovered.
