Beautiful Texan Tess is a Sex Addict. Having spent a lifetime of using men to fulfil her self-esteem, we find her recovering from the loss of the only man she ever wanted longer than one night. Recent divorcee and New Zealander Kris is a duck out of water trying to hit the big time as a producer in Hollywood.
Things might have gone smoothly after the first date however both their pasts keep pulling them apart. Tess struggles with the journey of her Twelve Step sex addiction recovery program. Meanwhile Kris is in denial that he might be a Love Addict, someone hooked on the ideal of a perfect woman that doesn’t exist, unable to commit to anyone that doesn’t fit his checklist. Despite the love they share for each other it wasn’t meant to be.
But years later in the present Kris witnesses Tess’ death and finds himself haunted by visions of her ghost, terrifying to look at, a guilt he is unable to face. Now part of the same recovery program that once saved Tess, how can Kris make amends with a dead lover? Is there a way out for him? Or will death be the final curtain call?
