The definition of entrepreneurship is the activity of developing, organizing and managing a business, mindful of the need for financial risk but with the aim of making profit. The word "entrepreneurship" is relatively new but it could have been applied to many people before the word was ever adopted.
Take, for example, Thomas Edison. He would not have known the word, but as the inventor of the electric light bulb, the moving picture camera, and the gramophone, he was both inventor and entrepreneur. The two are things are not necessarily related; the entrepreneur who sees an opportunity in the market is not necessarily the person who has invented something.
The person who grasps the opening is an entrepreneur. One of the most famous modern entrepreneurs was Steve Jobs who died at 56 years of age, in 2011. His legacy lives on and when discussing the subject of entrepreneurship and business, it is worth remembering his life. This book will discuss and analyze the deep impact Steve Jobs had on entrepreneurship and the business world.
