All of my training has come to this, but I never truly thought I'd be in the middle of a war between heaven and hell....
It is supposed to be the summer before my last year at the Academy of Dark and Light. I am supposed to be achieving high heights and being proud of my accomplishments. I am supposed to be partying it up with my friends before we enter the void of adulthood. But instead, we are all forced to become recruits for a war centuries in the making.
The worst part of it all is that my boys fight on different sides. While the truce between dark and light has always been tentative at best, the supposed betrayal of the dark side has led to an invisible crater opening up between the sides. Now, it is seen as good and evil.
Just when I think things can't get worse, the betrayal is blamed on the first boy I ever loved, and I am yet again being forced to choose who I will believe.
I am determined to get to the bottom of this and protect the world instead of getting involved in choosing sides here, because they are forgetting one thing - this is war, and we could all die in a blink of an eye.
