Second male reader is intolerable
Am grateful for this free introduction to Russian, but especially the second male reader is nearly intolerable. He sounds like an arrogant twat rolling his eyes while reading lines and hating himself and his life. Honestly, he ruins this wonderful resource and I hope a new edition is someday released so we can listen to this book without him ruining the whole thing. Thanks guy!

Enjoyable in car, but PDF helps
First off, the format is a podcast and a little corny....but I think that helps remember the material. I find myself driving and listening to this wishing I could read the PDF at the same time, Together they are a wonderful resource but definitely need each other. Overall I think this helps supplement my work with other ways to help learn Russian.

I liked it and felt like I learned more Russian
the radio show format was a little corny but I liked it anyway. I really appreciated that they said things at a normal speed instead of 2 quickly and then they went back and said many of the things at a slower speed and enunciated. I felt like that really helped to learn the pronunciation.

Tough to listen to.
The man Eddie in this tutorial is painfully poor at getting through his lines.. So painful to listen to that you forget that you're trying to learn another language. I had to go with a different system after this book.

It's mostly unrelated to Russian language as I expected
I am not interested in learning how Catherine the Great quartered people and the movie about a girl forced to be mistress. Totally unrelated and sick.

not forme
this was obviously not a good fit for me. But I'm not sure how uncomfortable I would be discrediting this whole thing as a useless way to learn a language. I speak 4 languages and this was hard to follow more than anything. even if you ignore the corny reading. the uncomfortable puns and everything... it's still senseless random Russian learning with cultural things sprinkled in. I couldn't remember the things they were teaching and dreaded rewinding.
