Remi Coker and Nnamdi Okonkwo leave the shores of Nigeria full of hope in search of greener pastures in London. Remi, from the prestigious Coker family, is expected to return home after finishing her law degree to run the family law firm, and Nnamdi, frustrated by the federal university strikes, plans to escape Nigeria and never return. The story follows their individual journeys of newfound freedom, self-discovery, unexpected turns, and the dilemma of whether to return home or stay in the United Kingdom.
Lagos to London is a heartfelt and masterful telling of the age-old trope of seeking greener pastures abroad with a significantly mesmerizing twist that speaks to a core of Nigerian youth and the issues they face while on the journey to forge their own path in the world. Inspiring all to live your dream and make your mark, whatever your path may be.
