LIFE AFTER DEATH is one of a number of related works written by theosophy scholars during the early 20th century. In it, theosophist and clairvoyant C. W. Leadbeater sheds a comforting & clarifying light on what a soul is, as well as its journey after physical death of the body.

Drawing upon clairvoyant observations, Eastern philosophy, and esoteric doctrine, Leadbeater dismantles conventional religious ideas of heaven, hell, and purgatory - replacing them with a multi-layered afterlife in which consciousness progresses through higher, more subtle planes of matter & energy.

Leadbeater describes the astral and mental realms, the process of dying, and the immediate postmortem experiences that shape the soul's transition. He argues that Theosophy - through study and disciplined insight - presents a clear-minded understanding of these invisible worlds that offers an alternative to materialist denial, and dogmatic mysticism alike.

LIFE AFTER DEATH is a guidebook for the soul, written not in abstract terms...but as a detailed roadmap of consciousness after the body is laid to rest. It remains a cornerstone in esoteric literature for providing much knowledge & understanding to one of mankind's most universal questions. (Note: due to the antiquated time period this work was first published, some of the Eastern names & phrases may not be completely accurate translations.)
