A girls' trip to Vegas. Just what Julia needs to forget her doctor's recent diagnosis, who told her she could never have children, after which her ex coldly dumped her. Allegedly because his career was more important to him.

In Vegas, however, luck is on Julia's side: She wins over $10,000 on one of the many slot machines - and that twice in a row! Lucky in gambling - unlucky in love?

But that's not all: In her euphoria, Julia falls right into the muscular arms of the man next to her, with whom she's been exchanging intimate glances all evening. The stranger's name is Roman Parker and he's a mountain of a man. His green eyes and the copious champagne make Julia return the kiss, and the two experience a breathtaking night together.

Everything seems perfect. Roman Parker also lives in New York, is filthy rich, CEO of a security company, and soon after proposes to Julia.

On the day of the engagement party, however, things take a turn for the worse: Julia's period is late and her doctor informs her that there was a mix-up at the lab. Moreover, her ex is desperate to talk to her and won't leave her alone.

But that's not all: Soon after, Roman Parker shows up at her door. In his hand, however, he's not holding roses, but an arrest warrant.
