À propos de ce contenu audio

Killing Abel is a novel based on a few thousand words from the Book of Genesis in the Old Testament of the Christian Bible.

From "In the beginning...." to the flood, God provided us with only two-and-a-half words a year of history, so there is much left open to the imagination, and the way I imagine it is what you have in Killing Abel. Any foundation for a coherent worldview must start at a logical place, and there is only one choice available for where to begin. If the underlying context is not Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning...", then it is a pretext. If you cannot trace your worldview back to a beginning, then what is it based on? If it has no beginning, then it has no foundation.

In Killing Abel, many question about the early days on earth are answered. Like: Why did God take Enoch alive? What was Enoch Prophecy? Why did Cain murder Abel? Why did God grant Cain mercy?Where did Cain get a wife? Was Cain the first child? Why did God have Adam name the animals? Where do oil, gas, and coal come from? Where do comets and asteroids come from? Why are there 365 days in a year? What is the origin of Friday the 13th lore? How did Eve see that the fruit was good for food? God created the heavens and the Earth in just six days, yet he had Noah build an ark that took him 100 years, why?And many other questions are plausibly answered in Killing Abel.

In Killing Abel, the Christian Bible is followed to the letter and is never deviated from in any manner whatsoever! Biblical references are used to allow the listener to follow the Bible as they hear Killing Abel narrated by Dan McGowan. As you listen, your faith will grow, and word by word, you will begin to understand just how real God's story is - just how real God is, just how real and relevant the biblical story is in your life. Killing Abel will give you context to strengthen your faith in the Bible. And most importantly, God the father will become more real, and more personal then ever before.
