In this guide, I would like to give you an insight into keeping, raising and training your horse as a partner. The focus will be on the factor of natural handling. Basic theoretical knowledge will be conveyed with corresponding practical suggestions. Meanwhile, topics such as communication between humans and horses and species-appropriate husbandry will be addressed. Newcomers to the field of riding will gain an extensive insight into the mindset of the four-legged friends and equestrian "know-how". Experienced riders who are already taking their horses to competitions will also find everything they need, from a change of scenery in training to dressage lessons.
For those working with young horses, the subject of training is dealt with extensively.
I do not prescribe the "right" or "wrong" way to ride. This guide is merely a recommendation on how to deal with horses in a species-appropriate manner. I want to convey how you can encourage horses without forcing them to do anything unnatural and how you can spend time with them alongside riding.
The overriding aim of all topics should be the joy of riding and harmony with the horse as a partner.
