Hot and sweet young love

Great narration really added to this story. This book is a college romance. What really made this story stand out to me are the descriptions of the feelings of awkwardness felt by the characters. It reminds me of being young and I experienced with life and relationships.

Jock Rule

Ok this was my favorite so far, I love how very different they are but how their friendship grew. And then it grew even more.
I just had all the happy feelings and all the smiles. I cracked up a few times too. I just really enjoyed this book. I loved that Kip was so close to his sister and that she really was a part of this story even though she was only a text.

Loved the narration both Chelsea and Jacob hit it out of the park.

I adored every second of this one!!

Sara Ney really knows how to deliver a wonderful story through and through! I loved every second of this story! I listen to A LOT of audible's and I have found that it is a lot harder to make me just so pleased when I am finished with a book and this one did it all for me! I was so happy when I was done, my heart was full and I was completely satisfied. I was a happy girl! lol okay moving on... I loved Kip SO freaking much, he is freaking hilarious, hot and broody in all the right ways and then Teddy, I adored her too! they are seriously perfect for one another. I was dying laughing the whole time it was amazing. Jacob and Chelsea were perfection together! I hope to hear them again very soon.
I highly recommend this book!!

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narrator was great.

Sweet and adorable

Kip Carmichael is one hairy, bearded giant - to the point that his team calls him Sasquatch. Every week, he watches Theodora 'Teddy' Johnson at the parties held at the rugby house. Talk about wallflower - her "jock hungry" friends always ditch her and she even ends up "bartending" for the crowd. Though Kip avoids getting involved with girls completely for reasons, he's drawn by the beautiful but shy Teddy who's always overshadowed by her loud friends. He befriends her and proposes a strange "Pygmalion" deal: he'll teach her how to get a jock. Slight problem: he might want her for himself.

I wanted a sweet, low angsty book after the little swim I took in the dark romance pool and this was just perfect! A short audiobook (around 6 hours long), it just hit the spot. Kip has his (very new adult-y) reasons for hiding under all that incredible amount of hair and I loved how Teddy fell for the Sasquatch anyway, making it a Pygmalion/Beauty and The Beast mash-up and it's all sorts of adorable. 

I specially loved their inner monologues and Kip's, especially, are sweet and hilarious. 

I adored the relationship he has with his sister and their text exchanges are a riot!

Second book in a series that can totally be read as a standalone.  Sweet, sexy, fun. 

Narration: Confession time - I picked because it was Jacob Morgan. Pfft, you know me by now... lol His Kip is just adorable! Chelsea Hatfield is new to me, I believe (though she sounds familiar...).

The Hero: Kip (a.k.a. Sasquatch) - a 6’4”, well built rugby player from a wealthy background. He wants to focus on school and rugby so he hides behind long hair and a beard. He is unapproachable and doesn’t want any entanglements.

The heroine: Teddy - She is a doormat for her friends. She comes from a single parent household where her mom had to work two jobs to get by. Teddy wants nothing more than to be stable and not have worry about money.

The Story: Teddy goes to a party on Jock Row with her roommate and friends, she ends up going to get them beers since her friends use her any chance they get. While waiting around the keg, Kip sees her from his position against the wall and the next weekend at another rugby party he sees her again, doing the same thing. He feels the need to talk to her.

When a fight breaks out, Kip helps Teddy out of the party and when she finds that her “Friend” is bringing a guy home to their shared one bedroom apartment. Kip offers to let her stay at his place and they get to talking. He tells her that she will never get a boyfriend the way she has been at parties and offers to be her “Hairy Godmother” and give her tips to get a guy.

This book is told in dual points of view and is narrated by Chelsea Hatfield and Jacob Morgan. This was dual narration where Jacob did the chapters in the male POV and Chelsea did the chapters in the female POV. I like these two narrators and really enjoy Sara Ney’s sports romance books. This was a terrific one. I loved that Kip is trying to keep his wealth on the DL and that Teddy is a shy girl finding her voice.

This had everything I love about the new adult sports romance. A hot guy with lots of muscles (even though his hotness was hidden by a lot of hair), college parties, snarky girls, and both main characters with backstories that get in the way. I also love that they become friends before anything happens between them. I really enjoyed the friendship and the romance between these two.

Teddy is sweet, without money and working her way through college..and smart
Kip is rich and intelligent and covers his good looks with long hair and a beard (Sasquatch)
A friendship quickly turns to more
Such a fun story with clever quips and Kips sister who adds spice to the story
Great narration where I truly feel connected to the characters

Omg 😱 such a great book. I LOVE ❤️ JACOB MORGAN the girl narrator was great too. Storyline was awesome. I just wish it was longer and had an epilogue

It kept me glued to my ear buds and stayed up all night listening. Great narration and fun hot story. Friends to lovers is a fav. Would re-listen for a fun quick sexy book

sweet, quirky romance

Nerdy girl meets jock who is done with jersey chasing girls. He finds her sweet, adorable, and irresistible. Full of cute banter as they get to know each other. A good romance read.
