So, I have a problem. There’s this guy, Darcy, that keeps showing up in my life. No, my life is not going to turn into this enemies-to-lovers story. Attraction between opposites is NOT really a thing. Trust me. Well, at least I hope not. Because I might be in love with my college professor. At least, I thought I was. But he’s clearly not in love with me. Wow, that was embarrassing. So much for some sort of May-December romance or happily-ever-after. How much more heartbreak can I take?
At least every semester at college is a chance to start over…and over… and over. And when my best friend since elementary school turns back up in my life, who knows? Maybe the story of my life is more of a friends-to-lovers kind of story. I can hope so! Because wow. He goes away for the summer, and comes back totally hot!
